The iconic Liverpool Santa Dash is back, and we cannot wait to welcome the Santas back onto the streets of Liverpool this December!

Last year, our incredible Santa Dashers (and mini dashers!) raised over £26,000 for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, kick-starting the festive season in the best possible way.

This much-loved 5K takes you past some of Liverpool’s most iconic landmarks, including the original Superlambanana, the Albert Dock and the world-famous Liver Building. It is a brilliant day out for all the family, four-legged friends included. Whether you don your red suit, go bold in blue, or turn up in your own festive fancy dress, this is one Liverpool tradition you will not want to miss.

A separate Mini Dash 1K for children up to 12 years old starts at 11.00am on Castle Street. Entry is £15, and parents or guardians are welcome to run alongside their little ones.

Why We Need Your Help

By taking on this event you are helping us to deliver pioneering cancer care to patients throughout our region. 1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer, but with your help we can be at the forefront of cancer treatments, and we can fund vital research, the latest therapies, and innovations in cancer treatment.

We are so often told that The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is unlike any other hospital. The Charity has funded a range of projects which help to to make Clatterbridge a place that stays in people’s hearts, including bringing cancer treatment closer to patients’ homes and breaking boundaries by becoming the first in the UK to offer a number of treatments.

Emma Rodgers

The Clatterbridge Fairy was specially created by our Charity Patron, internationally acclaimed sculptor, Emma Rodgers.

We asked Emma to share why she's supporting our Fairy Appeal:
"I have been a Patron of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity for 14 years now, as my mum is cared for there. They are incredible with her and getting the 'all clear' was a wonderful moment. They've done more for me than I can ever do for them, so creating the Fairy seems a small thing, really.

And this year I will be dedicating my Fairy to Professor Myint and the Team at Clatterbridge love from Emma, Milly, Annie and family."
